Order a Certificate
The need for certifications is a necessary part of doing business. You may need a good standing or certified copies in order to do business in another state or to obtain a bank loan for your corporation. Good standings are only issued on corporations, limited liability companies and limited liability partnerships.
The certificate of good standing indicates that the corporation is current and has filed its annual report with this office. Certified copies of charter documents are exact copies of the articles of incorporation or other important documents that have been filed with the Secretary of State. These certifications are only issued by the Corporations Division of the Secretary of State.
Beginning on March 1, 2004 the fee for each certificate prepared is $20.00 plus $1.00 per page for copies made of documents.
We do not bill for certifications. Any such request must be accompanied by the payment. If your company frequently request certifications then a pre-paid account is recommended for payment purposes. Setting up a pre-paid account is easy and painless. Simply send an amount of your choosing to our corporations division and we will establish an account for you. Each time you order a certificate the payment will be deducted from your account. If you do not wish to establish a draw down account, payment will need to accompany your request for certifications.
