Trade Name Data Download Details

The file is generated monthly and contains all trade names that were contained in the business registry trade name database at the time of the extraction

NOTICE: If you are experiencing a problem downloading a database please try the following:

Open Internet Explorer
Click on the Tools menu
Select Internet Options
Click the Advanced Tab
Find the Entry That Reads “Use Passive FTP (for firewall and modem compatibility) “ and UNCHECK it.
Your Download should now work.

The data is in a self extracting, PC compatible, generic dbf format

To extract the downloaded file click on the downloaded file with FileManager/Windows Explorer or type the file name from within the download directory from a DOS prompt.
